  • 1 package puff pastry sheets
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface.
  3. Cut the pastry into squares and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Spoon the cream cheese mixture onto the center of each pastry square.
  6. Add a few slices of strawberries on top of the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling and brush with beaten egg.
