Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onions over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink.
  3. Drain any excess fat and stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook the egg noodles according to package directions, then drain and add to the beef mixture.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the sour cream and cream of mushroom soup.
  6. Fold the sour cream mixture into the beef and noodle mixture, then transfer to a greased baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
