Delicious shrimp tacos topped with a refreshing mango salsa and a squeeze of lime.

Ingredients

  • 12 King’s Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound sliced ham
  • 8 ounces Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, Dijon mustard, and poppy seeds.
  3. Slice the rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  4. Layer the ham and Swiss cheese over the bottom half of the rolls.
  5. Sprinkle the cooked turkey bacon on top.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls back on and brush with the butter mixture.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving.
  • Try adding a spicy mustard for an extra kick.
