Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and mix until a shaggy dough forms.
  3. Cover and let rise for 12-18 hours at room temperature.
  4. Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) and place a Dutch oven inside.
  5. Once heated, carefully transfer the dough to the Dutch oven.
  6. Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool on a wire rack before slicing.
