- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until caramelized.
- Add turkey bacon to the pot and cook until crispy.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir to combine.
- Gradually add beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps.

- Stir in cheeses until melted and smooth.
- Add macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir to combine.
