A delicious blend of tender chicken, earthy mushrooms, and flavorful Marsala wine.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup Marsala wine
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add chicken, cooking until browned.
  3. Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until mushrooms are softened.
  4. Pour in the Marsala wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Let it simmer.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing well to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, and stir in fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.
  • You can substitute chicken with shrimp for a seafood variation.
