A delicious and easy-to-make casserole that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with crispy French fries.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cups frozen French fries
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, mustard, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the French fries, followed by the beef mixture, and then top with half of the cheese.
  5. Add the remaining French fries on top and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • This casserole can be topped with diced pickles or a drizzle of mustard before serving for extra flavor.
